We are a small family run business. All our Hardwood logs comes from sustainable, managed woodland and forests as well as managed tree thinning.
At Oak Hill Logs, we offer only the best quality hardwood firewood. All the hardwood logs are seasoned for 2 years and we have a large stockpile of logs which are stored undercover.
The log lengths are from 8″ to 12″ long, with the majority being 10″.

History of Beccles
The name is conjectured to be derived from Becc-Liss* (Brittonic = Small-court). However, also offered is Bece-laes* (Old English = Meadow by Stream), as well as a contraction of Beata Ecclesia, the name of the Christian temple erected c. 960 by the monks of the monastery of Bury. Once a flourishing Anglian riverport, it lies in the Waveney valley and is a popular boating centre. The town was granted its Charter in 1584 by Elizabeth I.

Beccles is a market town and civil parish in the English county of Suffolk. The town is shown on the milestone as 109 miles from London via the A145 and A12 roads, 98 miles northeast of London as the crow flies, 16 miles southeast of Norwich, and 33 miles north northeast of the county town of Ipswich. Nearby towns include Lowestoft to the east and Great Yarmouth to the northeast. The town lies on the River Waveney on the edge of The Broads National Park.
